INFO
Visual: About 6’1” and 54 years old, broad in armor and leaner without it, coarse reddish-blonde hair going thin on top and whiskers weathering grey at the edges. He’s rarely clean-shaven and looks like he’s spent most of his life outdoors, with a rough, bony face and blue eyes. A scar runs from beneath his left ear under his jaw across the side of his neck and ends under his throat.
Fashion: Dresses in neutral greens, browns and greys tailored to medieval specifications -- usually a linen shirt or quilted doublet worn with trousers and a skirt. His armor is secondhand, boiled leather and dark steel plate scarred and scuffed with use.
Accent: Westerosi. He sounds English.
Arms: Always carries a bastard sword and a steel dagger.
POWERS
Ser Bear: As of October 2016, Jorah has the ability to take on the form of a nasty old Westerosi bear of the North in a literal sense -- distinct in appearance, with a bleached, grizzled coat stained darker around the belly and paws, and familiar scars. The slash under his throat will cross over, along with other battle scars, including some suspiciously mangy fur around the left forearm, making him easy to identify at a glance. His ears’ll brush 10 ft ceilings standing upright, and he’ll weigh nearly half a tonne, with crushing jaws and claws longer than a man’s fingers.
As a bear, he will retain human intelligence and sense of self beneath the overlay of grizzly bear temperament, which could make him as mellow or ill-tempered as the situation calls for. Bears may have less complicated feelings, but they also have less restraint, and it will be hard for him to put on the brakes on his own, particularly where aggression is concerned.
His healing factor will cross over into bear form, but so will injuries. Beyond that, he is limited to standard grizzly capabilities. That powerful sense of smell, the ability to eat just about anything, etc, along with the bear’s massive strength and resilience, will be limited to bear form and will not carry over to Jorah human form.
Healing Factor: Recovery from physical injury at an accelerated rate, such that wounds knit themselves in a matter of minutes rather than days. The speed and ease depends on the severity of the wound -- scrapes and bruises in seconds, fractures and perforations in minutes, severe breaks and other intense trauma several more agonizing minutes.
Regeneration of lost limbs with this ability at its default level is not possible. If he takes enough catastrophic damage at once, death is a very real possibility.
He still feels pain as usual, but is more resilient against exhaustion, cold, toxins, sedatives, etc -- outside influences that typically give meat more trouble. This ability will clear up his greyscale infection, or at least suppress it.
Negation: Specific nullification of superpowers at close range. Jorah can identify an individual using a superpower (or being affected by one) within 50 feet, but needs to be within 25 feet (the closer the better) to quash a target’s superpowered ability. Best results are achieved focusing on a single subject, as this is a deliberate, directed power rather than a passive area effect. It requires awareness of the powers at work and intent on Jorah’s part to smother it out.
Touch is the surest way for him to drop a raging werewolf back into human mode or dial Electro down to zero. The closer the target is, the more secure the grip of his negation. See OPT IN for additional details.

These are guidelines for the curious -- I’m pretty receptive to plotting and/or rolling with things as they arise.
Physical Affection: Look, I don’t mind but Jorah might.
Violence: Yes please.
Injury/Death: I’m most likely game if it makes for good story. For death I’d definitely like some communication about intent and possible outcomes, even if it’s something that arises in the moment.
Hacking: Sure.
Telepathy/Manipulation: Also fine, keeping in mind that Jorah might catch on and shut it down. Feel free to hit me up to plot about this if you have something specific you'd like to achieve.
OOC
Backtagging: Yes/usually not further back than a month or two. I tend to want to start up a more current thread around that point.
Threadjacking: Go for it.
Contact: PM or add me on Plurk (hackfraud).
